I wanted a metal detector so I could spend some quality time outdoors with my seven year old son. I took my new Minelab X-TERRA 505 out to my brother's farm the first chance we had.
Within a few minutes I had my first target. The excitement on my son's face was worth more than what was buried in the soil. I pin pointed on the target and my son started to dig.
Buried nine inches in the soil, he reached in and pulled out our very first coin. A 1937 Silver Mercury dime. I was so proud to share this moment with my boy that words cannot describe the moment. Thank you Minelab for making this moment so memorable!
