I've owned my E-TRAC for just over a year now, and to me is the best machine I could own for the land I metal detect on with it being very versatile. Every signal I get is like the first one to me. My mind starts working over time wondering what is under the surface and will it change your life and will it tell a story. I hold it in my hand for the first time since it was lost by someone long forgotten about many years before.
We all dream about that special find that certain something that makes it stand out above all others, but to me everything I find does that and tells its own story.
I found half of this pendant on a wet morning on a field that my father in the past had been on and used to tell me that something special is going to turn up on that field. But on that day something seemed different I don't know what it was it was but just that feeling you get.
Once I dug down I went through the soil and found this sitting in my hand. I was so excited even though it was only part of a Viking pendant it was still special and all I could think about. I never thought I would find something like this. I put it in a protective box that I carry with me. I also found an odd broken button and copper penny so when I got home still thinking that I've got to show my father and emptied my finds pouch. I rinsed the broken button under the tap and realised it was part of the pendant. Hopefully all I need to do is search for the other part which I know it's there somewhere lying under the surface just waiting for me to take that slight step to the left or the right and my coil will find it!
