While using my CTX 3030 11"Coil in the water at Coronado California I uncovered my first ever coin cache. 36 ea 200 year old Chinese Coins (Ch'ieng-Lung 1736-1795) Most were in the minus tide wet sand or in ankle deep water. Very unusual find for this beach. How they got there is a big mystery. Most were very black and some paper thin...photo is of one of the better coins, all bronze. Ira Liss – California, USA
