Today I went digging today with Diggerdan, we hunted two places first place was a farm that was gonna be tore down, owner was building a new house next door. I got 3 FIRSTS for me today
I got a deep, bouncy, 12-24 ....17-28.....12-28, depth meter showed around 8 inches, at about 5 inches I see a TINY silver disk, I pulled it out and right away I was excited. I yelled at Dan, "no way your gonna believe what I just dug!" A 3 cent silver!!!!! too bad the back had some funky green corrosion on it, the date is 90% worn off, with a loupe I can see 185-....I know it is a Type 1 so it has to be 1851 to 1853. I don't even care, worn or not I am THRILLED.
