I have been detecting for 22 years. Since day one I always wanted to find a jersey copper coin. The years went by and never found one. Then I went to a spot that I was told was hunted out. My friend just walked through an area with his detector and nothing. Then I was swinging my CTX 3030 and a broken up 12-44 signal. I started digging and pulled 2 nails out of hold before I pulled the 1787 jersey copper out it was about 13" down. Once I saw the shield I started to shake then I turned it over to see the horses head. I stRted screaming over to my friend Steve. It was one of my best days detecting.
