A Hunt to Remember

01 May 2011

Had a great road trip with my buddy Ray on Thursday. Started it by getting on the road around 6AM and did not get home until after midnight. In that time we got about 9 solid hours of hard detecting at 3 different spots. Besides the fun of hanging out with one of my favorite detecting partners, I managed to pull out quite a few goodies. Broke a personal one day record for Indian head cents and Barber dimes. Even managed to pull out my first V nickel of the season. Just to show you how cleaned out these places we hunt are, I found more Indian head cents than wheat cents... heck I found more Barber dimes than wheat cents. And these were all places still in use today. This is proof to me that with the E-TRAC, no place is hunted out This is one hunt I will remember for a long time Bob Kononiuk – MO, USA
