Yesterday I received my new 17" search coil for Minelab CTX 3030 and today I went out to test! I found in 4 hours more Roman coins as two days ago with the 11 "search coil ... and I was on the same field as the small coil. My result for the search with the CTX 3030 and the 17" Coil are 15 Roman coins, one of it was a beautiful silver coin. This is the 17 "search coil is not good for small parts, I cannot confirm that there are also very small Roman coins. The accuracy of the 11" coil is better on small parts, but also the 17" search coil can find the small coins... a super coil, just a little difficult about the weight if you are detecting for 4 hours with it. Now I'm missing only the 6 "coil for the Minelab CTX 3030, then I am fully equipped!
