On March 13th I had the opportunity to take a new person to the area out detecting. He is has been using a Garret AT Pro for 2yrs and as yet had never found silver. He did manage to get his first ever silver coin that day but needless to say the CTX was singing a very different story. While he only managed one silver coin, a 1952 Canadian dime. I pulled 9 silver coins, 2 silver rings, 1 gold ring and a 1901 US $5 gold coin that has been made into a love token. What a wonderful day to be swinging the CTX. As yet the Chinese characters have not been fully deciphered but that will come.
