I have been detecting for two and a half years around the Ballarat district getting out at least once a week .In the last 12 months I have found over 200 pieces of gold near 14oz . Smallest 0.06, one of the bigger ones is 56gram specimen with a SG test of 44grams, a 30.5gm nugget. One of my best days was in 3 hours, 32 targets all gold 58grams. Went back the next day and dug out 28 nuggets, 103gram came of that patch in 12 hrs.
